Chiltern Club Awards and Accolades
Every year Chiltern Hockey Club celebrates the achievements of its members and the contribution of its supporters. Awards are presented to members and supporters alike at an awards ceremony, usually as part of a social evening event. Below are the awards that Chiltern Hockey Club currently bestow, and the people over the years who have received those awards.
The Chiltern Awards
The Maureen Fisk Scholarship
Awarded by the club to the most promising young player. The scholarship awarded refunds the season's membership fees for that player.
The Anne Short Trophy
Awarded by the club to the player who is deemed to have put the most effort into their playing over the season and shows the most potential.
Presidents Award
Awarded to the club player who in the opinion of the Club President has provided outstanding contribution to the club.
Club Member Award
Awarded to the club member who in the opinion of the entire club has provided outstanding contribution to the club. The award is given by votes from club members.
Captain's Player Award
Awarded to the team player who in the opinion of the Team Captain has provided outstanding contribution to their team.
Players' Player Award
Awarded to the player who, in the opinion of the team, has provided outstanding contribution to the team's results. The award is given by votes from the team's players.
Most Improved Player
Awarded to the player who in the opinion of the Team Captain has shown the most marked development or improvement in their skills or contribution to the team over the season.
Top Goal Scorer
Awarded to the player who has scored the highest number of goals during the season.
Halling 55 - Supporter of the Year Trophy
In recognition to the club supporter who has put the most effort into providing support for the club.
Durrant Cup
Awarded to the team that has scored the highest number of goals in the club.
